Preparing for hormonal changes and balancing the system, pre-teens will learn to accept the physical changes in their bodies through asana or posture work. This will aid them to release stress and establish a stronger sense of self. At this stage, our breathwork, meditations and posture flows are designed to take them out of a space of self-consciousness and increase respect for themselves while supporting mindfulness. They will develop a better understanding of themselves and will also be encouraged to incorporate the yogic philosophy into their lives. Balance, fun and self-love are the keys in this phase to ready themselves for the teen years.
